This armoire was crafted from walnut wood over 100 years ago at Ahmed Jamil Workshop (مشغل احمد جميل) in Syria. The workshop has been active for over a century, making this armoire a precious example of their work. Its surface glitters with mother of pearl micro‑mosaic, each shell piece precisely edged with sursur (سرسر), the fine brass wire that gives sharp definition and a golden shimmer. The careful sursur work amplifies the patterns and makes every panel sparkle.
