The craftsmanship of this Syrian Mother of Pearl Armoire is attributed to the Buni Family, also known as Mashghal Buni (Workshop Buni), who are renowned for their expertise in mother-of-pearl inlay work. The Buni Family has been producing exquisite furniture and decorative items for generations, and their work is highly sought after by collectors and connoisseurs. This armoire, which is nearly 80 – 100 years old, features pearl-inlay work that is done in geometric patterns and floral motifs. It features three mirrored panels and has two doors, each adorned with
intricate patterns of mother of pearl and wood inlays. The top of the armoire has a crown-like shape with finials, which give it a regal appearance.
