This armoire, made from walnut wood and estimated to be 80 to 100 years old, was crafted by the Buni Family [Mashghal Buni مشغل بني], known for their skilled inlay work. “Diqmaq” is a historical Levantine surname linked to traditional craftsmanship. It is a large, sturdy piece standing on three supports, with a detachable crown. One of its most distinctive features is the presence of inlaid Arabic calligraphy, carefully embedded into the wood using mother-of-pearl.
